The international postage rates will continue to rise as Canada Post announced on Tuesday that they would raise rates for the next seven years. In addition to the new rates, the sender must also include the correct postage on their letters and parcels. Addresses must include complete house numbers, apartment numbers, and business names, as well as ZIP or zone codes. The destination country must also be listed. This is why Canadians should double check their addresses before mailing anything.

On January 24, 2021, USPS plans to increase its prices for First Class Mail, Large Envelopes, and Periodicals. The cost of First Class Package Service will increase by 3.49%. Media Mail will go up by 3.57%. There are other price increases coming for the other mail services as well. Here are the details. While USPS may have raised its rates, it's not going to be enough to cause a massive change in shipping strategies.

Priority Mail International, First Class Package International Service, and First Class Package International will each be adding new countries to their list of supported destinations in 2020. In addition to the new rates, these services will offer flat-rate options to make shipping even easier. Those who use Priority Mail Express and First Class Package International Service will receive flat-rate shipping options for mail up to four pounds. However, the new pricing may be different for each of these services.

The stamp will go on sale in panes of ten the same day, with no first-day ceremony planned. This is the first stamp in the series to be issued in a country other than the United States.
